CHECK-IN PROCESS

At the time of Check-In at the event all athletes must submit the following items:

 

  • Photo ID regardless of age

  • Proof of current USA Dance membership

  • If you are dancing in the WDSF Open Adult or Senior I events you MUST present your WDSF membership card.

  • If you are dancing any Championship level Standard, Latin, or 10-Dance event, you must show proof of meeting residency requirements by providing residency documentation as follows:**

    • US Birth certificate OR

    • US Passport OR

    • Foreign Passport + Current US Visa OR

    • Foreign Passport + Current Green Card OR

    • Foreign Passport + Current Non-Resident Alien Card OR

    • Current US WDSF Card OR

    • Current Global Entry Card OR

    • Certificate of Naturalization as a US Citizen

Registration Check-In: Both members of the couple MUST be present for check-in. Competitors under 18 years old MUST have a parent or guardian accompany them to check-in.

 

Step 1 – Each competitor will need to present his/her current USA Dance membership card or receipt, or his/her current WDSF membership card from their home country or receipt. Renewal of USA Dance memberships/WDSF memberships will not be available at the event.

 

Step 2 – Each competitor regardless of age will need to present a photo ID.*

 

Step 3  – Each competitor who will be dancing any Championship level Standard, Latin, or 10-Dance event will need to present residency documentation as outlined above.

 

Step 4 – Each competitor who will be dancing any WDSF event will need to present a current WDSF card.

 

Step 5 – Any unpaid competitor fees will be collected at this time along with the $50.00 late fee.  This year for your convenience we will be able to accept  credit cards.

 

Step 6 – Each competitor will need to sign the ADSF Athletes Waiver. For competitors less than 18 years old, a parent or guardian will also have to sign the Waiver. Click here to review the Athletes Waiver 2016.

 

Step 7 – Each competitor will need to sign the Anti-Doping Form. For competitors less than 18 years old, a parent or guardian will also have to sign the Anti-Doping Form. Click here to review the 2016 Anti-Doping Form. It is highly recommended that competitors complete but do not sign this form online through the link on the registration page in O2CM when registering. Your completed form will be available at Check-In at ADSF and your check-in process will be faster and easier.

 

Step 8 – Each couple will pick up their competitor package containing nametags, heat sheet, competitor number, and safety pins. Please check to see that your heats are correct. If you find an error, please submit an Event Add/Drop form to the on-site registrar immediately.

 

*Younger competitors who do not have a driver’s license or passport may be able to obtain a photo ID from their schools. The Department of Motor Vehicles in many states will provide a photo ID for a person of any age who doesn’t have a driver’s license. Click here to go to the DMV website and select your state from the list.

 

Costume Check-In will be taking place for all Pre-Teen, Junior, and Youth Syllabus couples prior to picking up your packet. If you have any questions prior to arriving at the competition, please refer to the USA Dance DanceSport Rulebook 2021A.
